To All Radio Station Managers,
We are in the process of developing the old Aerthonnta website as a result of the research undertaken last year.  To date, we have added 2 new services:

1. An tEolaire
A Register of fluent Irish-Speakers who are interested in making Irish language programmes for radio. The Register is divided into two categories, one category for people who have no previous experience in broadcasting and another category for those who do have previous experience. 

This service is specifically for Station Managers / Recruitment Officers and will provide CVs, and sound files in some instances, as supplied by applicants. It is a completely confidential service and is free to all radio stations licenced by BAI.

Applicants have been vetted in respect of their fluency in Irish and ONLY that – recruiters should ensure due diligence as always when recruiting new members.

2. Online Resources Portal for Radio Broadcasters
This is a bilingual portal, available to all members of the radio station. It aims to provide support and assistance to radio broadcasters who make Irish language and/or bilingual (Irish & English) programmes.

The portal is a work-in-progress and, with your guidance, we aim to expand the portal to cater for Irish language requirements within the community and commercial radio sector.  We would value your feedback.

As the An tEolaire service is restricted to Station Managers / Recruitment Officers only we will provide separate MEMBERS LOGIN to other station members i.e. programme makers, presenters and producers for access to The Resources Portal.
